Today’s special guest is writer Kyla Alleyne to chat with me about her new non-fiction, coming-of-age book, Girl vs the World.
Bio:
Girl vs the World takes you through the lives of a sixteen-year-old girl named Lucy, her mom Brenda, her dad Nathan, and her best friends Becca and Ashley. Lucy is an outgoing, fun, and loving girl who loves cooking and baking anytime she gets and wants the best for people and just loves hanging out with her friends and family. There are a couple of other side characters in the book as well. It starts out with Lucy being told that she has Aspergers and trying to figure out everything in life from being a new town (since her dad is a pilot) and making friends, going through her teenage high school years, liking a guy, and all the birthdays and feels and everything in between.
